The Harvest Group - What we Do
- Sponsor and promote Perspectives on the World Christian Movement classes as well as Pathways, Pathlight, Encountering the World of Islam classes and conferences.
- Identify and equip Perspectives, PathWays and Encountering Islam alumni as coordinators to conduct classes from the Central Valley to the Central Coast and from Visalia and Atascadero north to the Oregon border in Northern California and Northern Nevada.
- Guide, coach, train, assist and provide administrative support to regional coordinators.
- Provide promotional and educational resources (brochures, books, web-based course material) to coordinators as needs develop.
- Work closely with our ministry partners to educate our Perspectives, PathWays and Encountering Islam students most effectively through sharing inspirations, prayers, information and resources with each other.
- Mobilize local churches in understanding how God, through Perspectives, PathWays and Encountering Islam can effectively reveal to the body of Christ His heart for missions.
- Establish working relationships with Colleges, Universities, Seminaries and other continuing educational institutions granting class credits at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
- Develop and maintain accessible databases of instructors as well as professors of record (for credit level students) for Perspectives, PathWays and Encountering Islam coordinators in the Northern California and Northern Nevada regions.
